This song was inspired by hearing Stevie Wonder and B.B. King play at Ray Charles's funeral. The amount of emotion and sheer appreciation those two giants had for Ray Charles made me sit right down and write it. I had seen Ray sing in Florida and found myself screaming like a little girl at the wizardry of his phrasing. Though it's probably the trickiest song, harmonically, on the album, I wrote it the quickest.
